I mentioned in a previous post that September's French Vogue was dedicated to a bevy of beauties from generations past. First there was Lara Stone as Gloria Vanderbilt, then Natasha Poly as Brigitte Bardot and Sasha Pivovarova as Liza Minelli. The latest model to play dress up is no other than the veteran Raquel Zimmermann. Raquel delivers an incredibly accurate portrayal as Debbie Harry of Blondie. Being a huge Blondie fan, I was guaranteed to love this editorial, but Raquel really delivers. The shots by Alasdair McLellan were true to the era, without being retro, and also somehow seemed modern. After the jump are some of my favourite shots from the editorial, my Obsession of the Day.
